Join Attack on Hunger on November 11th as we come together to honor our veterans, celebrate our community, and enjoy an afternoon of family fun!
We’re celebrating those who have served our country with great food, entertainment, activities for the kids, and an opportunity to connect with local community resources.

As a SPECIAL THANK YOU TO OUR HEROES! Veterans eat FREE! Kids 12 and under eat for $10
HELP US FIGHT HUNGER – COMMUNITY FOOD DRIVE!
We will also be hosting a food and hygiene product drive to support individuals and families in our community!
Want to participate without paying the $20 meal fee? You can donate 10 non-perishable food items OR 10 hygiene products in place of the $20 fee!
Every donation makes a difference, and together we can help put food on tables and provide essential supplies to those who need them most.

Veterans of Foreign Wars: Golf Tournament
Veterans of Foreign Wars Evans-Kendall Post 8071 Auxiliary is hosting their 4th Annual Golf Tournament at the Dayton Valley Golf Club in Dayton, Nevada. Check-in starts at 8:00am and the Shotgun Start begins at 9:00am.
Register for a chance to play golf, support veterans, and win prizes. Awards will be given for First Place, Hole in One, Closest to the Hole, and Longest Drive.
A raffle and live auction will also be held and all players are entered in a special raffle.
Fees: $160 Per Player. (Includes Breakfast, Lunch, 2 Drinks, Swag Bag, 18 Holes & Cart)
$30 Companion Ticket that includes all the fun without the golfing.
Special Added Event: Military, Police, Fire, First Responder Team Challenge.

Diabetes Health Fair - Hosted by Carson Tahoe Health's Diabetes Education
Carson Tahoe Health also hosts a FREE Carson City Diabetes Support Group every 2nd Wednesday of the month from 1pm-2pm at the Carson Senior Center (911 Beverly Dr., Carson City, NV)
