December 5th, 2025 - FISH and Ogres-Holm Pottery Studio hosted their annual Empty Bowls Project, bringing together local artists, restaurants, and volunteers to support the fight against food insecurity in Carson City. The Attack on Hunger team volunteered at the event, helping serve soup and raise funds that directly support FISH’s food programs, including hot meals and an open food pantry for those in need.
Celebrating Cultures with Dayton High School
December 3rd, 2025 - Attack on Hunger partnered with The Lady Tamales to support Dayton High School’s Cultural Celebration, an event honoring diversity through food, education, and community connection. With cultural displays, homemade meals, live music, and record-breaking attendance, the evening showcased the power of unity and giving back.
Operation: Veteran’s Day Recap
Attack On Hunger’s debut event exceeded expectations as volunteers, local partners, and community members came together to serve meals, share resources, and celebrate veterans. In just six hours, hundreds of tacos, tamales, and desserts were served—both at the event and delivered to fire stations, senior homes, and supporting businesses. With resource booths, veteran-owned vendors, raffle prizes, and an atmosphere of true community, the event sparked excitement for next year’s return and inspired continued donations to support local veterans in need.
